Baseball Knocked Out In Regionals

The Pasadena City College baseball team grabbed a 4-1 lead v. Cypress, but the Chargers roared back with power for a 7-5 win, then the Lancers were eliminated by host Citrus, 14-5, in a Southern California Regionals Round 1 series on Friday.

With its eighth straight trip to the postseason secured, the state #29-ranked Pasadena CIty College baseball team earned the #18 seed for the Southern California Regional Playoffs.

PCC Baseball Clinches 8th Straight Trip To Postseason

The Pasadena City College baseball team closed out the 2026 regular season on Saturday, knocking off LA Pierce, 11-5, and in the process the Lancers have clinched their eight consecutive trip to the Southern California Regional Playoffs. The game was also the home finale for PCC at its off-campus park--Brookside Park's Jackie Robinson Field.

Must Win By Baseball v. State #5 El Camino Creates Shift In South Coast

A funny thing happened on the way to state #5 El Camino College's South Coast Conference baseball title clinching party on Thursday. Unranked Pasadena City College put the kibosh on it.

Baseball Finishes Rio Hondo Sweep, Won 6 Straight

The Pasadena City College baseball team closed out its second straight, 3-game, South Coast Conference series, downing host Rio Hondo, 11-2, on Saturday afternoon. PCC has won six in a row, and upped its overall record to 21-15.

Coach McGee, Lancers Baseball Notch 8th 20-Win Season In A Row

The consistency of the Pasadena City College baseball team continues to stand out for this off-campus program. For the eighth straight full season going back to 2017, the Lancers reached 20 victories in routing Rio Hondo, 14-2, on Thursday at Brookside Park's Jackie Robinson Field.

Salcedo's 7 RBI Day Helps Baseball Sweep LA Harbor

Joaquin Salcedo hammered a 3-run homer and a pair of 2-run doubles for seven RBI as the Pasadena City College baseball team completed a 3-game sweep of its South Coast Conference series over LA Harbor on Friday, 13-5. The game was played at Brookside Park's Jackie Robinson Field.

Walk-Off Rally Win For Baseball Thanks To Valencia Relief Performance

The Pasadena City College baseball team snapped a 3-game, South Coast Conference losing streak behind a great relief job by lefty Alex Valencia and a patient offense that scored its final four runs without benefit of a single hit. The Lancers won it, 7-6, on a RBI fielder's choice, walk-off RBI grounder by Joaquin Salcedo.

Huge Extra Inning Heroics As Baseball Beats State #27 Golden West

The Pasadena City College baseball team led 4-0, 7-4, and 9-8 but were forced to extra innings on Thursday at state #27-ranked Golden West. In the 10th, the Lancers simply said enough was enough and put up a 7-spot to down the Rustlers, 15-8, and split their 2-game, non-conference series.

Baseball Erupts For Season-High 18 Hits In Rout At Barstow

Going back to early February, the Pasadena City College baseball team's offense had struggled to put runs on the board. The Lancers averaged just 4.2 runs during a 12-game stretch and the lack of offense showed in the results, just a 5-7 losing record between Feb. 5 through March 4.

Freshman righthander Jonathan Bracamonte hurled a complete-game, 7-hit shutout as the Pasadena City College baseball team won its South Coast Conference series over East Los Angles, 2-games-to-1. The Lancers' 5-0 blanking over the Huskies was played in the nearly 90-degree heat at Brookside Park's Jackie Robinson Field on Saturday afternoon

State-Ranked Teams Use Power, Pitching To Send Baseball To 2 Defeats

The Pasadena City College baseball team enters the 24-game, South Coast Conference schedule this week on a downturn after consecutive losses to state #11 Riverside City and #23 Citrus.
